Wild Hold

A$1,250.00

DESCRIPTION

In this abstract botanical painting, I am taking a wild journey of escapism through fantasy and curiosity. I enjoyed working with charcoal and both opaque paint and coloured glazes, allowing the composition to change and evolve, without a definite outcome in mind. In my thoughts, it's a metaphor for holding on to one's youth but also allowing for growth. The beauty of this type of painting, is that it allows the viewer to make their own interpretation.

MEDIUM

Acrylic and charcoal on stretched canvas, sides painted, sealed with 2 coats of UV protective varnish and ready to hang.

SIZE

61cm (W) x 91.4cm (H) x 3.8cm (D)
