Euphorbia Colorata

A$450.00

DESCRIPTION

The Euphorbia Trigona, also known as 'African Milk Tree' would have to be one of my favourite plants to paint. I have had one growing in my garden for many years. It always reminds me of a crowd of people standing together. The foliage is so bright and spectacular, it can easily make you forget that their thorns can be very spiteful. I can't resist exaggerating the colours, as I think it gives each leaf an individual personality.

MEDIUM

Acrylic and ink on heavy bodied artist paper, acid free. Requires framing.

SIZE

26cm (W) x 38.5cm (H) x 0.01cm (D)
