Coober Pedy, Breakaways - Diptych
DESCRIPTION
I have always had a fascination with the South Australian opal mining region of Coober Pedy. This impressionistic diptych of the Breakaways National Park at sunset, shows the spectacular changing colours of the lunar-like, arid landscape, which is both fascinating and alluring. I have used two textured wooden boards, the sides are painted in tinted red/black, sealed with UV protective varnish and ready to hang either together or separately.
MEDIUM
Acrylic on two wooden boards, sides painted and ready to hang.
SIZE
60cm (W) x 40cm (H) x 2.5cm (D)
