Rush Hour

A$650.00

DESCRIPTION

In Japanes culture, Koi are symbolic of perserverance and strength, in times of adversity. This is because of their tendency to swim upstream, against the flow. Watching them draws me in, almost like sitting in front of a campfire, watching the flames. Visually, I love them for their vibrant colour and I love trying to capture their energetic movement in the water. Observing them in the water, sometimes they remind me of people, rushing around during ‘Rush Hour,’ hence, the title. This piece has been painted in quality watercolour paint and inks on very heavy acid free watercolour paper. Unframed.

MEDIUM

Watercolour paint & ink on 640gsm watercolour paper.

SIZE

59cm (W) x 43cm (H) x 0cm (D)
