DESCRIPTION
This brightly coloured painting is the second of a new series called 'Seeing stars,' where I am exploring the universe on canvas. I enjoyed working on this long and narrow board, as I felt the shape really lent itself to the subject matter. I used multiple layers of coloured glazes to create the bright patches of luminous matter, against the dark sky. Sides painted, sealed and ready to hang.
