Cascading Curtains
DESCRIPTION
There's something compelling about watching a waterfall. I would liken it to the captivating feeling of sitting in front of a log fire. Something draws you in to the sheer beauty of the majestic power. In this work, I have tried to keep the detail to a hazy minimum by using an impressionistic approach. There is lots of beautiful texture in the green mossy cliff faces, which are draped with misty white watery curtains, that fall from the top of the cliffs. Signed on front and back, sides painted, sealed and ready to hang.
MEDIUM
Acrylic paint and heavy gel medium on stretched canvas, sides painted and ready to hang.
SIZE
122cm (W) x 122cm (H) x 3.5cm (D)
