Branching Out
DESCRIPTION
I love painting ficus trees because they have the most amazing branches that twist and weave and reach out in every direction. Also, when you look up into the canopy, you see shattered sunlight, peeping through the foliage. In this piece, I used coloured inks on very heavy bodied watercolour paper, which I feel give the branches fluid movement. Signed on the front. Requires framing.
MEDIUM
Coloured inks on very heavy bodied watercolour paper.
SIZE
56cm (W) x 40.5cm (H) x 0.01cm (D)
